This 10” thick mattress is made up of 4 layers. The construction includes the following components:
The top comfort layer is fully ventilated 1” of 5.0 pcf proprietary Yoga Instant Response Foam. This Instant Response YogaFoam reacts in a flash to pressure from your body, meeting it with firm, comforting support. It provides a bit of bounce but none of the sinking feeling like traditional memory foam. Its open-cell technology aids in dispersing heat from your body.
The second cooling support layer is a ventilated 2” of 4.0 pcf gel-infused foam (YogaGel Memory Foam). It provides a cushion while dispersing impact from deep compression. It has seven times greater thermal conductivity than traditional memory foam to keep the surface cool and comfortable.
The third layer is mattress core, made of a 5” 1.8 pcf Breathable Foam Base. This breathable high-density foam provides very firm support. It works together with the top layers to give the ultimate support.
The final base layer is a 2” of 1.8 pcf/40 ILD high-density poly foam that ensures the Yogabed design does not lose its support. It acts as the base of the mattress and lends some durability to the structure.
