The Gel series is a part of the Sealy’s Posturepedic brand collection. The Posturepedic brand by Sealy has been there in the industry for the past 60 years and Sealy company has been working in the mattress field since 1881. The Gel memory foam came into the mattress industry as an alternative to the heat retentive traditional memory foam. Gel memory foam does not allow the heat to get trapped inside the mattress and thus helps in keeping the mattress cool. The Sealy Posturepedic is designed using the gel memory foam.
The Features of the Sealy Posturepedic Gel mattress
The Sealy Posturepedic gel series consists of patented Apex innerspring models. The unique 2-stage coil design of Patented Apex innerspring model creates a very supportive and strong base for the mattress. The coils used in the design are titanium alloy based. The specialty of titanium alloy is that it is sturdy and has got really good durability. The titanium alloy is also good in weight bearing and can sustain in the toughest temperatures. The coils are encased in foam. The coils perform more efficiently when encased in foam. The foam encased coils are able to restrict the transfer of motion more efficiently. The foam encased coils also enhance the contouring property of the mattress.

The Core support and comfort layers are poly foam mattress with cooling gels. The density of the foam layers differs as per your preference. The fabric of plush, firm and euro pillow top mattress is hypoallergenic. It contains anti-microbial properties that will keep your skin and health perfect at all times.

If you already own a foundation which is in great shape, you need not buy a foundation again. However, it is always recommended to buy a mattress with its actual foundation if at all you are planning to claim a warranty.
